It was a whirlwind experience for a newcomer to the industry. Francine kept training for another year, until she was made a full-time member of the ECW roster.
Francine soon ditched Richards to become the leather-clad valet for the monstrous duo known as The Pitbulls. We had a really good chemistry and worked well together. Shane was like a big brother to me. He taught me a lot about the business. Though she had been in wrestling for a few years by April , she still had a few pre-show jitters before the landmark event.
He was a boss, but he was a friend. Though it seems unusual for a promotion that was home to a litany of surly characters like The Sandman, The Dudley Boyz, New Jack and others, that feeling of friendship is the biggest memory Francine has of her time in ECW. Everybody genuinely cared for each other. It was extremely special. Francine remained with ECW until the company closed in She traveled the independents for several years and even made a surprise appearance at One Night Stand to interfere in the main event.
After leaving WWE, Francine continued to work on the independents. She got married in and continued keeping a busy wrestling schedule until , when she became pregnant with her first child. Her life was never the same after that. Heyman started signing more women to add more depth to the overall roster. Heyman used them primarily as managers or love interests with the occasional matches. Two decades have gone by since the promotion ended. The ups and downs of Tammy Sytch have led to her post-wrestling career falling apart. Sytch did well in ECW during her limited time there working with long-time boyfriend Chris Candido as part of the Triple Threat faction. The summer of saw Tammy arrested again with no information on a release since. There was a career pivot to the adult industry before Sytch was arrested. Missy was one of the first women to make the valet position a pivotal one. WCW eventually signed Chasity away from the smaller promotion to manage The Sandman when he joined the company.
Chastity struggled to find success after the WCW run ended poorly. Unlike most others on the list, she left the wrestling business completely. The current life of Chastity sees her working as a regional account manager for an accounting firm for a more traditional career. The final year of ECW featured more talents getting a chance in the company with Paul Heyman looking for new stars. Jasmin St. Claire joined ECW with a background in the adult entertainment industry which added to her character at the time.
The real relationship between St. Claire and the Blue Meanie would see them working together as heels with weak results. Claire is still involved in acting with more traditional roles getting her in movies and on television shows. There are also the rare conventions where she still meets fans from ECW today. One of the rare instances of Paul Heyman missing the boat on a future talent saw Lita playing the character of Miss Congeniality.
