On 15th August the bank will remain closed across the country. However there are several other religious festivals, which may or may not be a bank holiday, it depending on the state in which you live.
Except for the second, fourth Saturday, and all Sundays, banks will largely be working on all days. As per the Reserve bank of India guidelines, all the banks will remain shut on public holidays while certain holidays depending on the religious festivals.
