What is the difference between malibu vlx and lsv - qcf

The sub enclosure just rattles like a license plate on a crappy honda with too much bass. I think you get the picture - you end up replacing most of what comes with the factory other than the stock interior speakers. I haven't looked at any of the new boats but if I were in your position I'd really consider a stereo delete and having a pro install the stereo. What does this include. Does your dealer do the work?

Supposedly, wetsounds came out and tuned the setup for each boat. So, hopefully the factory follows that direction. Kinda nice getting a 5 year warranty on the stereo. And yes, the dealer does the work. I'm sure you can do it for less but that would be a good budget number, which is what I thought he was asking. Some people are afraid of wrenches. I have a 23 LSV and love it Been thinking of upgrading to a 25 LSV I think most of your questions have been answered.

I do sac my boat out when surfing I did not like that Tige for surfing.. The first time behind a Tige Z3 was a demo and factory ballast.. I thought at that time it was not a fair comparison because of ballast weight was not near the way I load my boat.

Second time was at a surf tournament.. I have ridden behind other brands with no issues I personally don't like the Tige for surfing. Not I Oil, filter, Trans Fluid and some pig mats.. I don't change my impeller every hours.. How bad is this system? Will I be wanting to change it immediately or is it decent? Nothing looking for amazing but a good quality stereo. I like the touch screen integration and did not do a delete when I bought my VLX. I did an upgrade this past winter and replaced all of the factory amps.

Kept the RF interior speakers and replaced the towers with 3 pair of Rev 10's. I also had a custom sub box built with a 15 inch Kicker sub. I like plenty of audio and in my opinion if it's too loud you are too old Anyway the stock sub box stinks. The stock factory tuning is crap. The RF interiors are of decent quality and good sound when powered correctly.

I lose a bit on the top end, but it has no issue getting on plane with any amount of weight I've thrown at it. IMO, the wakes are very similar, LSV has a better surf wave, and the extra interior comfort is well worth going with the bigger boat. LSV all the way. Maas, I have a '10 with the and for boarding with stock ballast the Acme works great.

If you are going to surf you will need to get the Acme or an equivilent as suggested. I am normally running stock ballast surf side with lbs in a rear compartment and it works fine with the As stated you do loose top end, but I normally only run about 25 mph when cruising so I could care less. With a full fuel, 4 adults and associated boat b. The will be fine for boarding also, just at a higher rpm.

If you anticipate enlarging the family or your friends you will be better off with the LSV, but either one will seve you well. Ask any Malibu team rider, and they'll tell you that the LSV throws the better wake. In the mid 's the VLX was the boat to have. The LSV wake is now more sought after. The MXZ produces a better wake than both of them, and it's done with less weight.

Here's our MXZ wake over stock with 6 people at Attached Images. I have the older hull and it definitely takes more weight to get a nice wake as compared to the VLX. That being said, and no matter how many people you have on the boat, the extra space is nice. All of the Wakesetters are going to produce an awesome wake. Several pro riders commented that our LSV wake was the best they had ever ridden. As everyone here has mentioned, everything is larger with the LSV.

To get a great Surf wake the LSV needs significantly more weight. Relative to the motor the monsoon is capable with the correct prop. Handling wise they're very similar. If you're interested in the room, don't even Think twice you'll kick yourself down the road.

Out of the three I like the LSV the best by quite a bit. You get a great wake that's super easy to tune, the MXZ wakeboard wake is better, but not by much.

It's due to the one piece construction to the deck vs the normal 2 piece on the other bu's. Also the lack of carpeted bases allows more engine noise to enter the boat. I'm sure the VLX is a great boat, but I can't speak to it.

I love my VLX and we have 6 in our family. The boat easily handles us and we often bring a second family along. Never feels too cramped. With that said, if my garage was 18" deeper, I'd have an LSV. All times are GMT You really don't need the upgraded motor in the LSV. The Raptor is powerful, and the only difference between it and the Raptor is a software tune. If you need extra space go with the 23 LSV, it definitely is an awesome boat.

I would also defend the 22 VLX that it can also throw a respectable surf wave The wakeboard wake on the 22 VLX is also legit, no slouch by any means. I have about hours with the new 22 VLX, it has been a fantastic boat, the new re-design from the older 21 VLX was a home run imo. Here is a 22 VLX surf wave They are both awesome boats. The 22 has a steeper drop to its keel-line. So they actually probably displace similar water amounts.

I ride behind a LSV at 75 ft going My personal experience between the two has been that the wakes are almost identical when the boats are weighted the same, and the same speed. I thought it was called the V25 diamond hull? Mitchell Wakeboarder.
