I too dread reading the news however at the same time I believe in empowering our kids to be ready to face the challenges that the world might throw at them. Wish I am able to prepare my kid for the times to come and the way world is turning out. But when I hear of certain incidents, I wonder what could have a kid done to protect himself or avoid it and I have no answer.
